The Purrposes of a cats purr

Call me weird but when cats are being petted are they feeling a normal sensation or are they sorta moaning in a disturbing sexual way? Could it also be a way of communicating I'm not sure, there are different speculations about it. This question has been on my mind as I have been observing these cats . But finally I have an answer to it!








According to Live Science Beta cats have a variety of purrs. One of which is a "sign of contentment.." . it is produced in the diaphragmatic muscle which is located closely to the stomach. Cats do this as a pleasure type of sound just like humans getting massages.Another purr as well is a feeling of nervous or pain . This article states that "some experts believe vocalization is a type of self healing ." Those are jus 2 here's another. A recent study in U.K. shows that cats purr as a form of asking for food . They do this by saying a crying type of sound (palamero). Clever little animals, what other great way than crying can get their owners attention to feed them. Although I'm not sure if I'm petting to hard or the cats want my sandwich but I still don't know which is their reason for purring .

Actions speak louder than words ?

As much as I would hate to admit this , observing has gotten me addicted too seeking the life of these little cats. Opening my eyes to sadness , attempting to think how could such a person harm animals like these . Waking up to the sound of the trashcan man, looking outside and finding not the man yet the cats in freezing temperature. Bringing them inside , knowing the chances of getting in trouble but feeling rebellious. But still feeling hurt . why? It just makes me begin to imagine the starving animals who live in worst conditions , owners ignoring them not caring about them. As if sometimes just that look from one seeing it wish they had a voice . Its not fair that they get treated bad . They didn't come into this world thinking let's be controlled and not live our lives .Yeah they may not be walking , constructing  a new building, but they are just as equal as everyone else. They need to be loved and cared for . One day they might possibly be the top consumers , controlling the earth 

 Then might we want to be equal. I'm a teenage kid so I may not make a huge difference but these animals need to be acknowledged and seen at a different perspective. If only they could talk and tell you how much of jerk you are or aren't. I'm not jus talking about puppies and kittens , I'm talking about older dogs and cats already experienced a bad beginning .They aren't harmful unless they feel threatened jus like us. Maybe it's time to stop advertising these lonely animal commercials and jus make them a home . Treat them with love because people aren't making actions now , some jus don't care and begin to live there life everyday . If no one makes a difference our generation my just have to. 

Size Doesn't Matter

I walk past these two cats every day but never really payed attention to them. I've never been a cat lover but they are in fact very fascinating. I began observing them outside of my house and as soon as they see me the walk right over they slowly walk towards me and jus give me that look that I jus know says pet me please.








I pet them for a while and began to write my observations but the problem was I couldn't ! They would rub against me and do this weird thing like tap me on the shoulder. I felt pretty awkward when they rubbed against me and had me questioning why. I Also got the chills when the female cat in which I name sprinkles stood up and tapped me on the shoulder. This had me questioning, so I began to research this and I found out that when a cat rubs itself against you, it's claiming you as their territory  and meaning your now family to them. How could this be I rarely pet this animal and it's not even mine !
Another thing that's pretty crazy was as I was about to leave and I see the other cat which is a male I named neymar who's pretty chubby and lazy ,run and jump the fence as if it was like stepping over a puddle .It  was so easy for him ! Do they have special muscles that give them this ability ? Do they ever fall ? Those are questions that I will answer in my next blog .

Play time

I began observing my nephew Antonio(tony tone) and what he does is really weird but in fact very interesting. He seems to always have a smile on his face that never disappears. Most people assume he's my adopted brother but he's really my nephew. Tony tone has his toys, criss crossed apple sauced and is about to play. This should be interesting!

I observe his mood first to see how his play time will be . First as he began to attack another super hero with his villian he starts to scream "plato!!" My first thought is wait what? Assuming he does not know it means plate,  I have asked him why he says that and he just replys with " it makes him sound scary !!". Tony has a creative mind in my eyes and its really fascinating because I mean how does he have more creativity than me.  Oddly he dosen't throws his toys like other kids but makes the sound effects sound exactly how they should sound. This is just one of his many acts.

Although I have some questions such as, where did he learn plato from ?
 Could it be from the Spanish the rest of our family speaks ?
